Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant

Advantage Rehab, a physical therapist-owned outpatient clinic, is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team of 10 clinicians at our Cody and Powell offices. Working in Our Clinic:
Experience a uniquely collaborative culture with strong PT-PTA partnerships defined by strong professional education support and a custom, structured mentorship program. We enjoy a variable caseload with diverse referral sources driven by community relationships. Our patient base includes many repeat clients, direct access patients, post operative clients and referrals from specialists and primary care providers, ensuring a stimulating practice environment. Newly hired Physical Therapist Assistants work directly with our skilled Therapists in our feedback-driven clinical environment to develop their skill sets and specialties. All clinical team members train directly with our Clinical Director, an Adjunct Faculty of Augustana University, our Practice Owner, who brings over 35 years of experience, and other clinicians with specialist training. This commitment provides access to advanced training in specialty areas including Spine Care, Pelvic Health, Vestibular Therapy, and Neck/Craniofacial.

The Role of Our Physical Therapist Assistants Includes:
  • Collaborating with PTs to further support our developing programs in sports rehab, performance prep, and recovery program.
  • Assisting in Therapists to evaluate and treat clients in an active fitness-forward environment with 40-60 minute evaluations and 40 minute treatment sessions.
  • Building strong therapeutic relationships with patients across a wide range of diagnoses.
  • Contributing to and participating in community events and provider education for clinic promotion.
  • Engaging with colleagues through in-house education and case management opportunities.
  • Reporting to the Clinic Director and being accountable for key metrics.
  • Working possibly at more than one site within Cody; occasionally covering at out of town clinic with company reimbursement for travel.

The Skillsets & Qualifications for this position include:
  • 2-year Physical Therapist Assistant License (or eligible for licensure).
  • 1+ years’ experience working in an outpatient physical therapy clinic as a Physical Therapist Assistant (preferred, not required).
  • 1+ years’ experience working in an EMR system.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent relationship building skills with patients, providers and team members.
  • Ability to input accurate and complete medical records in a timely manner.
  • Ability to make decisions and judgements independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Interest in sports rehabilitation, injury prevention and performance-based care.
  • Willingness to network in the community inside and outside clinic hours.
  • Ability and willingness to work at different locations.
  • Willingness to travel and work at out of town clinic.
  • Knowledgeable in HIPPA compliance and patient safety standards.
  • Driver’s license and clean driving record.

Clinic Hours and Schedule Possibilities:
This full-time position may work in Cody and Powell locations with a pre-determined schedule. We provide access to a company vehicle for travelling between clinics (approx. 30 minutes).

Hours of operation are between 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Fridays. Individual schedules can be flexible but must be consistent.

Compensation:
  • Starting hourly pay ranges from $ 25.00 - $ 35.00+/hr based on demonstrable skill sets and years of experience
